Copyright and Intellectual Property

Our design protections and how to report content that may infringe your rights.

Last updated

WeddingTa-da! designs, artwork, software and branding are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual-property laws. Rights belong to QuantRoads, Inc. or the relevant licensors. Access gives you a personal-use licence, not ownership of our designs. Our Design Licence explains what is allowed.

You keep rights to your original photos and writing. Use only material you own or have permission to use. A complaint about a trademark or other right can also be sent to [email protected]; identify the right and explain the issue.

Send a report to [email protected] with the subject “Copyright report”. Include your name and contact details; identify the copyrighted work; give the exact URL and location of the allegedly infringing material; and explain your authority to act for the rights holder.

Include your physical or electronic signature, a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or law, and a statement that the report is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the right or are authorised to act for its owner. Please do not send unnecessary personal documents.

We review sufficiently detailed reports, may request clarification, and may remove or restrict material and inform the uploader. We may share the substance of the report and contact information with the affected person so they can respond. Submitting a report does not establish infringement by itself.

Reply to the removal notice or email [email protected] with “Copyright counter-notice”. Identify the removed material and its former location, provide your name, address, telephone number and signature, and explain why you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification.

For a US DMCA counter-notice, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief in that mistake; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, or if outside the US, a district where the service provider may be found; and agree to accept service of process from the reporting party or its agent.

Where the US DMCA procedure applies, we may forward a valid counter-notice to the reporter and restore access after 10–14 business days unless we receive notice of a filed action seeking a court order. Other legal processes may apply to other rights or jurisdictions. Do not submit a counter-notice unless you understand the legal statements you are making.

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Repeatedly uploading removed material or abusing the reporting process may also lead to restrictions. Knowingly false reports or counter-notices may carry legal consequences. Contact us if you want to withdraw or correct a report.

Reports are handled by QuantRoads, Inc. at [email protected]. Mailing details are on our Contact and Imprint page. This contact is for receiving and reviewing reports; we do not represent that a US Copyright Office designated-agent registration has been completed.
